The Yanbu Journal of Engineering and Science(YJES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal established by Yanbu Industrial College in October 2010. It publishes high-quality research in English at no cost to authors, with two issues released annually in June and December. YJES follows a rigorous double-blind review process, ensuring impartiality and maintaining high scientific standards through evaluations by independent expert reviewers and editors.
The journal covers a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Nanotechnology, Renewable Energy, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. It accepts various types of submissions, such as research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes.
YJES is currently indexed in Google Scholar and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The journal maintains an efficient peer-review timeline, with initial editorial decisions made within five days and final decisions following peer review within 50 days.
